The Sustainable City Award is given each year to a city for work that is helping the city achieve its sustainability goals through implementation of one or more of the GreenStep Cities program’s 29 best practices.
In 2022 the City of Duluth received the Sustainable City Award.
All cities participating in the GreenStep Cities program are eligible to enter.
The winning city will receive a cash prize of $1,000 and receive special recognition.
