I’m Michelle Vigen, our CERTs Campaigns and Metrics Coordinator, and I’m seeking Minnesota communities interested in developing and implementing a community behavior change initiative around energy efficiency and conservation.
With a generous fellowship from the Bush Foundation, I’m bringing the latest tools for community-based behavior change to Minnesota communities seeking broad and lasting energy-conscious behavior. Learn about and implement effective marketing and program design tailored to meet your community’s clean energy goals.
Local governments, churches, businesses, organizations, schools, and industry associations are invited to submit their interest and ideas though the application form below. Projects will be selected based on level and breadth of community support and partnerships, availability of resources (including time), and demonstration of commitment to the outcomes of the initiative.
Selected communities will receive an introductory presentation and workshop, as well as a pre-determined number of consulting hours for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of an initiative. The Bush Foundation covers my time, travel, and research. Selected communities will be responsible for any event space, outreach, and local communication materials and organization.
I am accepting proposals on a rolling basis through February 2012. Proposed initiatives must have a timeline within January 2012-June 2013. I can’t wait to work with you and your community!
