$577,500 in funding has been allocated for this round of funding.

Deadline:
The deadline for submissions is October 3, 2014 at 4:00 PM. Please see the RFP document for details.

Eligible Applicants and Projects:
Projects must increase the use of Minnesota’s bioenergy resources, encourage self-reliance and security, or promote sustainability, and involve bioenergy with a focus of woody biomass thermal application. Up to half of the total project cost may be covered by the grant, with a maximum award amount of $150,000 for this RFP, pursuant to the recommendations from the NextGen Energy Board that were incorporated by the commissioner of agriculture.
