As part of its ongoing Farm Energy Efficiency Program, The Minnesota Project recently launched a new Farm Energy Efficiency Resource Center. The resource center contains myriad documents from across the nation, all related to promoting energy efficiency improvements on farms.
The resource center divides the wide variety of documents gathered into multiple categories for easy viewing and searching. The categories are split into types of farms and types of technologies, and should help any viewer find the specific piece of information they may be searching for.
The Minnesota Project hopes this resource center will be a good starting point for individuals interested in learning more about the benefits of energy efficiency on farms. The resource center includes case studies of past successful energy efficiency projects, do-it-yourself farm energy assessment tools, descriptions of the latest milk pump technology, evaluations of effective lighting and ventilation improvements, and much more.
