There is a lot of funding available in the field of residential weatherization. The main problem? It is hard to find qualified contractors.

The MN Department of Commerce is currently recruiting contractors for their Weatherization Assistance Program. Staff recently hosted a webinar where they described this contracting opportunity, including what the work is like and what to expect for pay and paperwork. Weatherization directors provided real world examples of day to day activities as well.
