Event Description
The cities of Falcon Heights and Lauderdale are hosting a joint sustainability fair and recycling day. Bring your electronics and textiles to be recycled and papers to be shredded for free and learn about ways to incorporate sustainability in your daily life! We will have:
- Speakers
- Local organizations tabling
- Activities for kids
- Electric vehicle demonstration
- FREE countertop food scrap bins for Falcon Heights and Lauderdale households only while supplies last!
Speakers: we will have 15-minute lightning talks throughout the event
- 11:30 - Russ Henry from Minnehaha Falls Landscaping/Bee Safe Minneapolis on bee lawns
- 12:15 - Gregory Goodwine from Ramsey County on the intersections of climate change and public health
- 1:00 - Peter Lindstrom from CERTs on the work of Clean Energy Resource Teams
