Introducing Trevor Drake, Metro CERT's newest staff member

Metro CERT is excited to announce our newest staff member, Trevor Drake, who started today as the Metro CERT Organizer!

Trevor spent the past year working with the City of Rogers where he helped them to become designated as a Minnesota GreenStep City and invest over $50,000 into energy efficiency projects. Additionally, he verified project results and assisted with energy benchmarking and data analysis. Trevor also served as an Americorps member with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, where he led volunteers to build a LEED-certified home in downtown Hopkins.

Here’s what Trevor has to say about starting with CERTs: “I’m very excited to continue working on clean energy, and to broaden my focus area to the wonderful organizations throughout the entire Metro area. There are so many innovative ideas out there for using clean energy to improve the well-being of communities. I’m looking forward to learning about these ideas and helping organizations to find the resources they need to implement effective, successful projects.”

As a road bicyclist, Trevor will fit right in with the CERTs crew. He’s also an avid cross-country skier, and expects to compete in his 5th American Birkebeiner ski race this winter.

Don’t be afraid to contact Trevor and introduce yourself! Here’s his contact information:
