Primary Duties

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will play a crucial role in installing solar systems for residential and commercial properties. You will manage the electrical connections between solar arrays and the grid, perform installations, maintenance, and repairs, and collaborate with our skilled team to ensure safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install solar panel systems in accordance with Cedar Creek Energy and NEC standards.
  • Manage on-site installations, repairs, and system testing.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
  • Install electrical equipment, including conduits and disconnects.
  • Conduct quality control checks and system testing.
  • Work independently or collaboratively in team settings.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards.
Experience

Qualifications

  • Current Electrician’s License (Journeyman or Master) or willingness to test for Journeyman.
  • Minimum of 2 years of electrical experience.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and on rooftops.
  • Physical ability to lift 60+ pounds consistently.
  • Proficiency with power tools and reading electrical drawings.
  • Valid MN driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
  • Experience in the solar industry is a plus but not required.
  • Willingness to undergo driving, drug, and criminal background checks.
