The Office of Energy Security (OES) is managing much of the energy-related components of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 for Minnesota. OES just updated the federal stimulus energy info they are hosting on their newly redesigned Web site. It is the first place you should look for information about the ARRA in MN.

- General Information: Full text of legislation, tracking of the implementation process, and investments and grant programs underway by government agencies.
- For Local Governments: Information for cities and counties including the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants (EEBG), Weatherization Assistance Program, and State Energy Program.
- For Job Seekers & Contractors: Resources for energy job seekers and weatherization contactors. Includes details on Dunwoody College of Technology’s Energy Auditor Training program.
- For Businesses: Learn how stimulus funds can help make your business more energy efficient. Includes our funding goals, energy-related tax credits, and details on the State Energy Program.

Visit www.energy.mn.gov and click on the large button on the right that says Federal Stimulus Energy Info.
CERTs will do our best to keep you in the loop on new developments and opportunities related to energy and the ARRA in Minnesota, but it would not be a bad idea to bookmark the OES stimulus site and check back often to find out what’s new.
