2024 was a banner year serving manufactured home parks!

Working with manufactured home residents and park managers, plus a variety of utilities and community groups, CERTs staff served over 1,500 homes in 18 Minnesota parks.

“Though manufactured homes are often considered one of the most affordable housing options, they tend to come with hidden costs, including high energy bills and vulnerability to extreme weather. Connecting with so many residents of manufactured homes this year felt like it got at the heart of CERTs’ work to make sure all Minnesotans have affordable bills and comfortable, durable homes, and created a strong foundation on which we plan to build in 2025!”

-Katie Schroeer, MN Climate Impact Corps member and Metro CERT project coordinator.

While we crunch the numbers to calculate how much money and energy this work helped manufactured home residents save in 2024 — stay tuned for our annual report — enjoy photos we took along the way.
