Ever heard of solar-powered penguins, polar bears, and primates? Now you can say you have! City of Saint Paul is supporting solar energy with their popular Como Park Zoo and Conservatory through a community solar subscription.
The clean energy will reduce electricity costs for the zoo's operations. The solar installation—owned by C2 Energy Capital, a renewable energy and storage investor and developer—is part of three community solar gardens that total just over 4 MW, and align with Saint Paul's climate and renewable energy goals.
