Led by CERT NE Coordinator Nik Allen, the event kicked off with a round of introductions where attendees shared their names, affiliations, and personal goals for the gathering. One participant, already diving into the Community Energy Ambassador self-directed trainings, expressed their eagerness to learn more about the upcoming rebate programs and to network with ambassadors for tips and guidance. This moment captured the spirit of the event — eager to learn and ready to take action.

“I’ve started to take classes to become CERTified, I’d like to learn more about the upcoming rebate program as well as network with some of the folks in here that have already started the journey to get some pointers.”

As the event wrapped up, one participant suggested a future coffee chat for ambassadors to continue building relationships and sharing insights. It was clear that this event had ignited a desire for more opportunities to connect, learn, and collaborate. Keep an eye out for those coffee chats!
