Videos: Reaching bold clean energy targets in Rochester

The video features several public and private partners that are working with the Destination Medical Center and the City of Rochester to achieve sustainability goals:

• Mayo Clinic and its steps to reduce energy consumption
• Rochester Public Transit’s rapid transit system planning and micro-mobility initiatives
• Rochester Public Utilities and its goal to provide 100% renewable power by 2030
• The Berkman’s sustainability features that earned the apartment building a Silver LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council

At any one moment, an ice skater could be practicing their double axel on one of two sheets of ice in the facility, while just a few yards away swimmers could be practicing for their next competition in the Olympic-sized pool at the natatorium.
